The Waikiki Luau is a great option if you are looking for a shorter luau experience (luau starts at 5:45 pm and ends at 7:30 pm). Taking place at the Royal Hawaiian Center in the heart of Waikiki, the Waikiki Luau is within walking distance from all major hotels.
Upon arrival, you'll be warmly welcomed by Hawaiian dancers and musicians. Enjoy a Mai Tai tropical drink and then sit down to a delicious luau buffet dinner with a wide variety of delicacies. There will be live entertainment with musicians and hula dancers during the dinner hour.

Does this Waikiki Luau include the full Rock-A-Hula theater show?
No. This package is the shorter cabana luau experience and includes the buffet dinner, live Hawaiian music and hula entertainment during the meal. It ends in the early evening and does not include admission to the separate Rock-A-Hula theater production.
Is the Waikiki Luau a convenient option without a rental car?
Yes. The luau is held on the fourth floor of Building B at the Royal Hawaiian Center, within walking distance of many Waikiki hotels. Guests who drive can receive discounted Royal Hawaiian Center parking with validation from Rock-A-Hula.
Are vegan food options available at the buffet?
Yes. Several buffet dishes are vegan, including selected salads, sweet potatoes, rice, fruit, haupia and sorbet. A grilled vegan garden patty is also available with at least 24 hours' advance notice and should be requested next to the guest's name when booking.
