Taking place at scenic Makapu'u Meadows at Sea Life Park Hawaii, Aloha Kai Luau features a gorgeous outdoor setting backed by tall sea cliffs and overlooking Manana Island. Experience an authentic Hawaiian luau with delicious foods and an exciting Polynesian show.
Located just 15 miles east of Waikiki or 25 minute drive, Aloha Kai Luau is just a short drive away, with convenient roundtrip transportation from Waikiki area hotels available if you don't want to drive out yourself. Once you arrive at the luau grounds, you'll be warmly welcomed with a Hawaiian lei or shell necklace and can then watch or participate in cultural presentations and activities, including a hula or ukulele lesson, coconut headband weaving and even an imu ceremony (unearthing of the roast pig from the underground oven).
Later, sit down and enjoy the big luau feast, featuring a wide variety of delicacies. Vegetarian foods are available as well, so no one will leave hungry! This family-friendly Oahu luau then presents a spectacular Polynesian show, highlighting the vibrant traditions of the Hawaiian Islands and the love of the sea as you are taken on a musical journey across Polynesia. The show culminates with a sword of fire!

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Bronze, Silver and Gold packages?
The Bronze package includes a shell lei, one drink ticket and Bronze seating. Silver upgrades guests to a flower lei, two drink tickets, Silver seating and a five-day Sea Life Park pass. Gold includes preferred Gold seating, a flower lei, welcome Mai Tai, two additional drink tickets, a souvenir photograph and a ten-day park pass.
Can I visit Sea Life Park on a different day from the luau?
Yes. Every package includes admission to Sea Life Park, but the available visit period depends on the package selected. Bronze admission may be used one day before or after the luau, while Silver and Gold packages provide longer multi-day admission periods.
Is transportation from Waikiki available for Aloha Kai Luau?
Roundtrip transportation from designated Waikiki pickup locations may be added when booking. An early pickup option is also available for guests who want to visit Sea Life Park before the luau, while self-driving guests may park at the venue for an additional fee.

Roundtrip Transportation from Waikiki:
Transportation is available at an additional cost from convenient Waikiki locations. If you book your luau tickets with added transportation, your exact pick-up time and location will be in your confirmation email. The cut-off time to book your luau with roundtrip transportation is 12:00 pm the day of your luau reservation.
There is an option for early hotel pick-up, which allows you to arrive at Sea Life Park early so that you can enjoy the animal shows and exhibits before the luau (all luau tickets include free admission to the park). To book, select the "EARLY Pick-up" option when making your reservation. Early transportation to the luau needs to be requested by 10:00 am the day of your luau reservation.

Driving Out:
Check in at 4:30 pm. Doors open at 5:00 pm.
Parking at Sea Life Park is $18 +tax per vehicle per day ($9 +tax for military/kamaaina). Parking is cashless. We only accept electronic payments, such as debit cards, credit cards and mobile payments like Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Driving Directions:
Take the H-1 East (Lunalilo Freeway).
H-1 becomes Highway 72, continue east through residential area.
After the residential area ends, continue driving along the coast past Hanauma Bay and Sandy Beach, to Makapu'u Point.
Sea Life Park Hawaii is located on the left side of the road. You will see the large signage indicating the entrance from the highway.
Luau is from 5:30 pm to approximately 8:15 pm.

Special Notes
Silver Package includes a 5-day General Admission pass to Sea Life Park. Park visit may be between 5 days before or after the Luau date.
Bronze Package includes a 1-day General Admission pass to Sea Life Park. Park visit may be on the day before, day of, or day after the Luau date.
For the Gold Package, the souvenir photo is digital with the option to purchase a physical copy.
Wheelchair Accessibility: The Aloha Kai Luau grounds and Sea Life Park is ADA accessible. ADA lift requests for roundtrip transportation need to be made at least 3 weeks in advance.
